A new era of social wellbeing unfolds at Marina South Coast — where thermal waters, art, and urban vitality converge.

A New Landmark for Wellness in Asia
Singapore is set to redefine urban wellness with the announcement of Therme Singapore — a S$1 billion (US$740 million) development by Therme Group, positioned as Asia’s first-of-its-kind integrated wellness hub.
Planned for the Marina South Coast waterfront, this destination will combine thermal pools, botanical gardens, immersive art, and digital wellbeing innovations within a sustainable, city-integrated ecosystem.
When completed by 2030, Therme Singapore will become a global benchmark for social wellness — a model that merges luxury, nature, and community wellbeing in one visionary environment. Wellbeing as Urban Infrastructure
Unlike traditional wellness resorts designed for escape, Therme Singapore embeds wellbeing into the urban experience itself. Spanning 4 hectares, the complex will sit adjacent to Gardens by the Bay and Marina Barrage, welcoming an estimated 2 million visitors annually — half of whom are expected to be international travellers.
The development is a collaboration between Therme Group, DP Architects, and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), aligning with the nation’s ambition to evolve from a “smart city” into a “well city” — where technology, sustainability, and human vitality intersect.

Designing for the Senses
Therme Singapore is envisioned not merely as a destination, but as an immersive sensory experience built around four key pillars:
🌊 Thermal Waters & Hydrotherapy – A network of mineral-rich pools designed to promote circulation, recovery, and calm.
🌿 Biophilic Landscapes – Verdant indoor gardens and water features that blur the boundaries between architecture and nature.
🎨 Art & Culture as Therapy – Large-scale art installations and performance spaces that connect emotional health with aesthetic experience.
🔆 Sustainability & Innovation – Renewable systems, water recycling, and climate-responsive design for long-term environmental harmony.
Every element reflects a growing movement: wellness as essential infrastructure, not indulgence. Luxury Meets Social Wellbeing
Therme’s model represents a profound evolution in luxury — from exclusivity to inclusive excellence. The goal is not to isolate wellness behind walls, but to democratize access to premium experiences, blending relaxation, recreation, and community connection.
For the global wellness economy, this approach marks a paradigm shift: luxury as a shared state of wellbeing, not a private possession. A Blueprint for the Longevity Economy
From a longevity lifestyle perspective, Therme Singapore signals the next wave of wellness innovation:
Cities designed to extend healthspan and happiness.
Architecture that acts as a daily catalyst for recovery and rejuvenation.
Experiences that foster connection, movement, and mental clarity within everyday urban life.
For leaders, investors, and wellness brands, this project offers a glimpse into the future — one where urban longevity ecosystems become central to city identity and economic growth. At The Horizons Life
